The Glitch Mob Visuals Reel

Be Johnny is pleased to release this new aleatoric silent film. It’s 54 hours worth of 1920x1 pixel film slices (total of 1080 movies) combined into a single, 3 min movie, (1 movie slice per line).

The Ruse Of Medusa - I just received an archived photo from this Asheville, NC stage production we worked on in 2005.  At the time, Johnny was working with David McConville at The Elumenati… Together we made immersive, full stagewash projection using a single fisheye omnifocus projection lens with stunning results. Our projection accompanied the first hour of the performance, live piano works of Eric Satie, played by Sebastian Collett.  This was then followed by a re-enactment of a famous play made at Black Mountain College featuring giants of modern art at the time (Cage, Merce Cunningham & even Buckminister Fuller)— the original playbill and webpage for the show is here.  Johnny wrote custom software with Max/Jitter to create audio reactive abstract forms.  Hard to believe this piece is going 5 years old already!
